(PICTURES) Akrofuom MP, Hon Alex Blankson Donates Motorcycles To Akrofuom Jubilee Police Station
The Member of Parliament for Akrofuom Constituency, Hon. Alex Blankson has donated four motorcycles to the Jubilee Police Station at Akrofuom in the Ashanti Region.
He did the donation through the Obuasi Divisional Police Command for onward presentation to the beneficiary.
In his presentation, Hon. Alex Blankson said security is a collective responsibility and each citizen has a role to play.
“I handed over four motorcycles to the Divisional Police Commander of Obuasi, Chief Superintendent Mr. Joseph Nyaaba to assist their field operations,” he stated.
The District Police Commander, Mr. Martin Asenso commended Hon. Alex Blankson for giving the Police the necessary resources to enhance their work.
For his part, the representative of the Chief of Akrofuom, Nana Asare Bediako adviced the police to put the motorcycles into good use to ensure its longevity.
The District Chief Executive for Adansi Akrofuom Hon.Maurice Jonas Woode, applauded the MP for showing massive concern for the security of the District.
He also assured the police that preparations are far advanced for Akrofuom to have a separate District Police Command.
The NPP Chairman for Akrofuom Constituency Mr. Nicholas Essandoh and his executives also graced the occasion.
