The Ashanti regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako today visited the Paramount Chief of Kumawu, Barima Sarfo Tweneboah Kodua.
The purpose of the visit was to formally update the Paramount Chief of Kumawu on preparation towards the burial of the late Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Philip Basoah and how government intends to develop the Kumawu in his absence.
The NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, was in the company of the National Chairman for the NPP, Mr. Stephen Ayesu Ntim; Minister for Works and Housing, Francis Asenso-Boakye and deputy minister for Finance, John Kumah.
