On Wednesday, 27th October, 2021, the Ashanti Regional chapter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would hold its annual delegates conference.
The event is under the theme: Joining Forces to Maintain Power and would take place at the Forestry Commission Training School Park at Achiaakrom within Ejisu.
The event would attract bigger party stalwart including President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
Others to grace the event is Mr. John Boadu, the NPP’s General Secretary, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah, the Ashanti Regional Minister and Chairman Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, the Ashanti Regional Chairman for NPP.
Under the leadership of Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti region gave the NPP 1,795, 824 votes as against the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) 653,149 votes during the 2020 elections.
