Lawyer Justice Abdulai, has said that only persons with low intelligence quotient (IQ) would tag him as a card bearing member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The law lecturer at UPSA, appears not happy about the political tag being hanged around his neck after he went to the Supreme Court challenging the decision of First Deputy Speaker Joseph Osei-Owusu, to be counted as part of the quorum to pass the 2022 budget.
In an interview on Wontumi TV, the lawyer stated that “I don’t have any political party card. People with low IQ are not quick to learn and seek information but only add political color to everything they hear”.
He called for a ceasefire noting that the political tag being put on him could have a dire consequence on his life, family and loved ones.

Lawyer Justice Abdulai, had gone to court but in a unanimous decision given by Justices Jones Dotse, Nene Amegather, Prof Ashie Kotey, Mariama Owusu, Lovelace Johnson, Clemence Honyenuga and Yonny Kulendi, the writ was thrown out.
Mr Abdulai is of the firm view that the ruling on the interpretation of Articles 102 and 104 of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana by the highest court of the country was not definite on the Deputy Speakers casting vote when the need arose on the floor of the House.
