Pastor Ransford Obeng Takes COVID-19 Jab, Assures Public Of Safety.

Reverend Ransford Obeng, General Overseer of Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), last Tuesday before midday took the COVID-19 vaccine jab at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council.

The CCC leader who also doubles as the Chairman of the Kumasi Ministers Fellowship was given the privilege as leader of the Church in the Ashanti region.

This is despite his qualification as a member of the society who is above the age of 60years.

Showing confidence to take the jab, Reverend Obeng calmly got his details down to the officials of the Health Ministry and proceeded to take the jab, an activity which qualified him to receive the COVID-19 vaccination card.

“I have taken the jab as advised and I urge all Ministers of the Gospel who qualify as well as the members of the public to do so when it is their turn”, the CCC leader

APPEAL:
Speaking to the media afterwards, Reverend Obeng said the jab was painless.

He noted that but for the medical person telling him the inoculation was done he didn’t feel anything.

Reverend Obeng therefore appealed to persons who qualify under the first category of people to take the vaccine jab to do so since it was painless.

He noted that he felt no side effects after taking the jab contrary to speculations that were rife in the media circles.

“I can boldly say that the jab is almost painless contrary to rumors and wild speculations suggesting otherwise”, Rev Obeng noted.

COMMENDATION:
Reverend Obeng commended the government of Ghana for being the first African nation to have received a consignment of the COVID-19 vaccine for free.

He noted that such show of care and concern for the citizenry was exemplary.

Reverend Obeng therefore commended the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for showing leadership in ensuring the people of Ghana had the vaccine.

He stated that the vaccine possessed the power to reduce infections and risks to the viral disease, adding this was enough to protect the citizenry.

“We thank the President as leader of government for ensuring Ghana had the vaccine to deal with the spread of COVID-19”, Rev Obeng stated.
