Parliament Suspends Sitting For Three Weeks Over COVID-19 Cases Escalation

Parliament has suspended parliamentary activities for three weeks over the surge in COVID-19 cases.

The action is to enable members of the House to take the COVID-19 measures and protocols seriously.

The House is adjourned, therefore, till March 2nd 2021.

The recent number of Members of Parliament tested positive stands at 17 and 151 parliamentary staff also being affected.
