Owusu Bempah Leaked Vital NPP Info to NDC Before 2024 Elections – Paul Yandoh Alleges

The Ashanti Regional Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Yandoh, has accused Deputy National Communications Officer,NPP, Ernest Owusu Bempah, of leaking confidential party information to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of the 2024 elections.

Paul Yandoh expressed deep concerns about Owusu Bempah’s loyalty to the party, citing his recent defense of NDC’s National Communications Officer and CEO for Goaldbod, Sammy Gyamfi, in the ongoing dollar saga as a red flag.

“The way he supported and defended Sammy Gyamfi shows how dishonest he is, “I suspect him of giving out vital information to the NDC during the elections.”

According to Paul Yandoh, internal party documents, including speaking notes, were being leaked prior to the 2024 elections.

“Before the elections, our speaking notes got leaked. I’m beginning to suspect that it’s Owusu Bempah—he’s the one. Our speaking notes stopped coming because we were trying to track the person behind it, not knowing it’s our own Deputy Communications Director.”

He also confirmed that an official instruction has been issued to remove Owusu Bempah from all party platforms, citing breach of trust and party discipline.

Paul Yandoh further condemned Owusu Bempah’s alignment with Sammy Gyamfi, whom he described as openly hostile to the NPP.

“Sammy Gyamfi has attacked and insulted the former president, Nana Addo and everyone in our party to make us unpopullar. For a party member to support someone like that is dangerous. Owusu Bempah has benefited from the NPP, and this is a betrayal.”

He concluded that Bempah’s defense of Sammy Gyamfi over the dollar saga could only mean one thing—he may be the one feeding the opposition with internal party strategies.
