WWE could have a few surprises in store for the fans and a couple of superstars are expected to stun the fans at Wrestlemania 39. While the name of Stone Cold is making rounds once again, there is another megastar who can return at the Show of the Shows next week.
Speaking to givemesport, Wrestlevotes said that Randy Orton’s name is being discussed and he can make an appearance at Wrestlemania 39 in some capacity. The report adds that Orton was disappointed at missing Wrestlemania 32 due to an injury.
“Randy’s name I’ve started to hear a little bit over the last couple of weeks. He’s getting close. He’d like to show up at WrestleMania. Missing WrestleMania 32 in Dallas through injury killed him. So I think if he’s going to return, let’s say the night after, he’d rather just show up in some form at the stadium,” Wrestlevotes told givemesport.
Randy Orton has been out of action since May 2022. The WWE legend was dealing with back issues in 2022 and went through the title unification match against The Usos. The team of Orton and Matt Riddle lost their Raw Tag Team Championships to The Usos, who have held the Undisputed Tag Team Championships since then.
Orton hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since then. The future WWE Hall of Famer was a babyface when he was ruled out of action and it remains to be seen if Orton returns as the same person or not.
