Our Gold Money Isn’t Safe Under Sammy Gyamfi – Lawyer Ampaw

Ghana’s gold money is no longer safe in the hands of Sammy Gyamfi, lawyer Maurice Ampaw has said after accusing the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board of living an opulent lifestyle.

“Is our gold money safe under Sammy Gyamfi? No. He needs money to live opulent lifestyle”, he said.

In reacting to Sammy Gyamfi’s apology over the incident which captures him doling out fresh and crisp dollars to self-acclaimed prophetess, Patricia Oduro Koranteng aka Agradaa, lawyer Ampaw asserted that he isn’t convinced our gold money is safe under him.

“We are serious; this is not just about offering an apology. He doesn’t spend cedis, he is a dollar man… We need to know how he is making his money. This is called probity”, he said.

Also Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has attributed Sammy Gyamfi’s current predicament to a punishment from God.

The celebrated lawyer believes it is a sign from God and that there is more punishment Sammy Gyamfi would be receiving from come above.

“Stop saying I am sorry; it is God who is punishing you. There are more to come”, lawyer Maurice Ampaw said.
