Ghana winger Osman Bukari has been honoured with the Player of the Month award for April for his outstanding performance in the Serbian top flight for Red Star Belgrade.
The Black Stars winger who was instrumental in his team’s title triumph was acknowledged with a prize of 100,000 dinars, equivalent to $927, and decided to give back to society through a heartwarming donation.
In a remarkable display of selflessness, the winger demonstrated an act of true generosity by presenting the prize to Ana Vukadinović, an ardent supporter of the Serbian champions who is battling with a distressing skin condition known as epidermolysis bullosa.
His outstanding performances, which included scoring an impressive tally of four goals and delivering an assist in five games, made a substantial contribution to his well-deserved recognition as the standout player for that period.
He has played a key role in Red Star’s incredible unbeaten record in the league since his arrival last summer, which ultimately led to their successful title retention.

Throughout this time, his considerable efforts have cemented his position as an essential component of the squad, demonstrating his crucial presence and effect on the team’s overall performance.
Osman Bukari was Ghana’s hero in March when he climbed off the bench to salvage a point for the Black Stars in Luanda in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola.
