Shatta Wale has vowed launch a campaign that will see a Ghanaian blogger in jail this year.
The Ghanaian Dancehall artiste was instrumental in the implementation of laws against false prophesies in the country and has pledged to use the same energy to streamline the affairs of blogging in Ghana.
In the view of Shatta Wale, Ghanaian bloggers need to learn professionalism and the surest way to inculcate that into them is by spending some days behimd bars just like he did.
Explaining what he means by lack of professionalism, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr said bloggers in Ghana focus their resources on spreading false info in the country.
He cited an example saying Nigerian bloggers are taking advantage of his feud with Burna Boy to elevate his brand but bloggers in Ghana are bent on releasing false of defamatory information about him thereby making Burna Boy victorious in their battle.
The king of Shatta Movement took to his social media pages to announce that he has already begun conversations with the police and a blogger will be used as a scapegoat by the end of the year.
To sound more convincing Shatta bragged about how he sacrificed his freedom to fight against false prophecy which is now under control in the country.
He wrote, “This year alone I want to make sure one blogger goes to prison and learn what is being a professional. Whilst Nigerian bloggers deh praise their own in this current situation, Ghanaian bloggers are spreading false information in the country.”
“This is what I told one Great police officer that if they don’t check these things there won’t be any disciplines in the country. I fought for prophesies and I will again fight bloggers this year. Watch Me!! Shatta Wale”
