Asante Akyem South Constituency First Vice Chairman hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Kwodwo Agyei Yeboah popularly known as Nana Kay, has described Ofosu Ampofo as Mahama’s remote control.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning Political Show, he said that “ Chairman Ofosu Ampofo per the constitution is the leader for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) but in reality, he is not. He is Mahama’s remote control and he is always at his premises taking instructions”
“The constitution does not work with the NDC. Mahama will continue to be the leader so far as Ofosu Ampofu is in charge, the reason he could boldly say when he comes to power although the decision for the next flag-bearer has not yet been taken“,he added.
“The only person under the NDC who Mahama listens to is Asiedu Nketia and they are pushing him to contest for Chairmanship. I advise him not to listen to them”, he stressed .
