Ofori-Atta’s Residence Raid: No Search Warrant Was Produced- Richard Jakpa Exposed

A recent news report announcing Richard Jakpa’s appointment as Director of Special Operations at the National Security Secretariat has sparked controversy.

The report claimed that Jakpa presented a search warrant to staff at the Ofori-Atta residence, which was allegedly executed without hindrance. However, a closer examination of the events reveals discrepancies in the narrative.

According to eyewitness accounts, guests are welcome at the Ofori-Atta residence, and on the day in question, the visitors knocked, honked, and were let in. Three employees, including a security guard and a housekeeper, interacted with the visitors, but none were shown a warrant.

Two videos capturing the entry and interaction between the security man and the housekeeper reveal that no warrant was presented.

The housekeeper informed the visitors that she needed to place a call first but she wasn’t allowed, she did not simply allow them in, as she stood her ground for a while and one sees Jakpa bark orders with accompanying hand gestures which she ignores.

He then appears to lose his patience and walk away. It would be better for Jakpa to state the exact moment at which he presented the search warrant as there are other angles of the CCTV footage which can be checked to corroborate his story.
