Priscilla Ofori, aka Odo Broni, wife of the late Ghanaian music superstar Charles Kwadwo Fosu, aka Daddy Lumba, has filed a defamation lawsuit against TikToker and a member of Team Legal Wives, Cyndy Emma Koomson, also known as Queen Emma.
The lawsuit, filed in the High Court of Justice (General Jurisdiction) in Accra on April 20, 2026, paints a chilling picture of an organised “online hate campaign” that has turned the grieving widow’s life into a digital nightmare.
According to the writ obtained by Nydjlive.com, Odo Broni and her six children have been the targets of relentless cyberbullying led by Koomson and a group calling itself “Team Legal Wives”.
The statement of claim alleges that Queen Emma used her massive TikTok platform to broadcast “vile and vituperative” falsehoods, including accusing Odo Broni of bribing a judge to win a previous legal battle regarding her husband’s funeral rites.
Again, the defendant is said to have accused Odo Broni of infidelity, claiming she (Odo Broni) had extramarital affairs and questioning the paternity of her children, even calling for DNA tests.
The lawsuit also claims that the TikToker published allegations that Ofori “strangled her late husband to death” and even referred to her as “oprega” (restless animal) and “Odo Bronsam” (Precious Devil).
Among other reliefs, Odo Broni’s legal team, Cardinal Law Group, is seeking an order directing the defendant to unreservedly apologise to the plaintiff and retract the offensive and defamatory statements published about the plaintiff.
They are also seeking an order directing the defendant to publish the aforesaid apology in full-page notices for four consecutive Mondays in the Daily Graphic newspaper in Ghana and on her social media platforms.
Odo Broni is also seeking GH¢10,000,000 in damages.
The reliefs include GH¢3,000,000 for general damages and GH¢7,000,000 in aggravated damages for the “contumacious” and “malicious” nature of the publications.
