Lawyer Obiri Boahen, has schooled Dr. Charles Wereko-Brobby on the subject of coup d’état and told him to be ashamed for wishing it on Ghana.
Obiri Boahen’s lesson to the Wereko-Brobby comes after the latter made a Facebook post which sought to point out that Ghana was next in line to face a similar political upheaval just as Guinea.
Speaking on Wontumi TV, which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, the deputy General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) stated that he has personally spotted a piece by Dr. Wereko-Brobby which states that “like Guinea, Mali, Ghana” to imply there would be a coup d’état in Ghana.
But he quickly added that the post by the suspended member of the NPP is “laughable” adding that “I know history and I don’t believe he knows better than me.”
He continued that the circumstance that led the 1966 coup in Ghana, is not prevalent for Dr. Wereko-Brobby to wish for such evil on the country.
Lawyer Obiri Boahen indicated that Coup d’état “can’t happen in Ghana”.
