NPP Will Win The 2028 Elections- Dennis Miracles Talks About Early Signs

There are early signs on the wall that points to an impending political victory for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2028, Denis Miracles Aboagye has said.

Some of the signs include the allocation of GHC2.7 billion by President John Dramani Mahama to run a self-acclaimed ‘lean’ government when his predecessor used a paltry GHC 327 million to run a larger government.

Dennis Miracles spoke to the host of Movement in the Morning Political Show, Kwaku Dawuro and emphatically stated that the “NPP will win the 2028 elections”.

The 2024 Campaign Director of Communication for the NPP, stated that President Mahama’s inability fulfil a campaign promise of paying the fees of first year university students, would land the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in opposition in 2028.

“As we speak, he hasn’t been able to fulfil his promise to students entering university, he asked them to find loans to pay their fees and that he would reimburse them, but he hasn’t done it”, he said.

He continued that Mr. Mahama in opposition promised to cancel teacher trainee allowance and give them a loan scheme but hasn’t been able to do that when he came into office.

Denis Miracles used the moneys allocated to the office of government machinery to highlight the disparity between former President Akufo-Addo government and that of President Mahama.

“He told Ghanaians that Nana Akufo-Addo was running a big government and that he would reduce the size of it. Akufo-Addo used only GHC327 million on compensations for the office of government machinery. You (Mahama) are now going to spend GHC2.7 billion”, he said.

Under the government of President Mahama, the agencies under government machinery has been reduced from eight (8) to four (4) but he has requested billions of Ghana cedis to run it.
