NPP Will Use E-Levy To Transform Ghanaians- Buabeng Asamoah
The Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lawyer Buabeng Asamoah says the E-levy if accepted will change the lives of Ghanaians.
Buabeng Asamoah added that the acceptance of the E-levy will stimulate development.
He made this known at a press confab in Kumasi on Friday, 18/01/2022 captured by wontumionline.com.
Lawyer Buabeng Asamoah indicated if it is accepted it will prove itself as a nationalist policy.
He said the
E-levy has no conditionalities unlike going to IMF to secure loans.
He emphasized that government has other sources of collecting taxes but those sources are not enough to champion development.
The NPP Director of Communications admitted that there is hardship but was quick to assert that the acceptance of the E-levy will curtail it.
“Our forefathers fought for political stability and it’s about time we also fought for economic independence,” he urged.
