Yaw Adomako Baafi has compared the negatives which came with the appointment of George Akuffo Dampare as Inspector General of Police (IGP), to concealing ones fart in container with the intent of making it stink more.
A former Communication Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Yaw Adomako Baafi has slammed his own party for elevating George Akuffo Dampare to the position of IGP.
Speaking on Movement in the Morning Political show, he stated that some of the trick the current IGP used to get his position under former President Akufo-Addo was to lobby through influential persons in the NPP and the media.
He praised Dampare a being “smart” but went on to classify him as a monster after getting the position.
“When he needed power, he took me to Golden Tulip to buy me food. He pleaded with me to speak on his behalf but after getting it, he showed me his true colour. He bought the media as well and comprised them… With the size of stomach too, I ate a lot thinking I was just spending his account; not knowing I was helping create a monster”, he said.
