NPP Should Build The Party Around Chairman Wontumi To Win Elections 2028- Daniel Teiko
A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Team, Daniel Teiko, has called on the party’s rank and file to build the party around the national chairman hopeful, Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
Speaking on Wontumi’s Morning Show, Teiko praised the Chairman’s tireless work ethic and charisma, which he believes can be leveraged to drive the party’s success.
Teiko recalled the party’s 2024 election campaign, where Wontumi consistently demonstrated his dedication and energy. “Prior to the 2024 elections, there were days we went to campaign and returned home at 2 am. By 6 am, when we returned to the campaign office, Chairman Wontumi was already seated there,” he said.
Despite some party members being critical of certain statements made by Wontumi, Teiko urged the party to invest in managing Chairman’s image and leveraging his charisma. “I always say the party should invest in managing Chairman Wontumi because I have seen people who just want to see him and touch him. I have seen people who want to work for the party simply because they have seen Chairman Wontumi,” he said.
Teiko believes that Wontumi’s charisma is unmatched, except for former President Rawlings. “Aside from former President Rawlings, there’s no other person who has the charisma that he has,” he added.
By building the party around Wontumi and effectively managing his image, Teiko is confident that the NPP can win over Ghanaians with its policies. “When we build the party around a man with such charisma, when we sell our policies, Ghanaians will buy,” he concluded.
