Three TV and Radio presenters have lifted the lid on a plot by certain people to get Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu suspended within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Shedding light on the story on Movement in the Morning Political Show, the trio stated that a decision by the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Suame to conduct and submit a comprehensive report on key factors that contributed to the party’s defeat in the 2024 General Elections, triggered his alleged suspension plan.
“We are hearing of a petition to suspend Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu from the NPP. We have heard of it, but we have decided not to talk about it”, show host Kwaku Dawuro said.
According to the main host, they have gathered enough evidence to suggest plans are underway to suspend him.
“We are aware that they want to suspend him”, he said.
Gordon Asare Bediako also added his voice stating that from what he is picking up “they claim that he led a team in Ashanti region to conduct research and handed over a report to Chairman Wontumi, they say he shouldn’t have done that.”
