NPP Needs Amnesty for Disgruntled Members to Foster Unity – Hon. Patrick Boamah

The former Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Hon. Patrick Yaw Boamah has suggested that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) grant amnesty to disgruntled members to promote unity within the party.

In an interview on the Wontumi morning show, Hon. Boamah emphasized the importance of bringing back suspended members to their various constituencies, regions and the national party.

According to him, party leaders, including former Presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, can play a crucial role in organizing a committee to nurture party unity.

He also recommended a meeting to review the party’s constitution, which was last updated in 2010, to ensure it aligns with current needs and protects the party’s interests.

The Okaikwei Central MP believes that granting amnesty and reviewing the constitution are essential steps towards fostering unity and guiding the party’s growth.
