The Energy Minister and Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia South, Dr Matthew Opoku-Prempeh says the NPP government remains the most considerate that has ever been in power.
He noted that every policy of it shows that it considers the interests of the ordinary Ghanaian than anything else.
Addressing residents in the Manhyia South Constituency last Friday, Dr Opoku-Prempeh said the NPP believes that the Ghanaian deserved the best in everything that one decides to do in government.
“The NPP government prioritises the Ghanaian in its policy formulation, economic programmes as well as development projects than any government that has ever been in power”, Napo stated.
COMPARISONS:
Dr Napo said the NPP believes in empowering the youth including those at the Zongo communities with skills training programmes.
The opposition NDC, the Minister said rather chose to build mortuaries for people in the Zongos during the 2020 electioneering period.
The NPP believed in empowering the Ghanaian child with education hence its deployment of the free education system, Napo insisted.
“While we were thinking about Ghanaian school children, the NDC party rather mounted speakers on vehicles and in every space to speak against the free education policy”, the Energy Minister tearfully remarked.
ENCOURAGEMENT:
Dr Napo therefore asked the people to keep faith in the NPP government.
He said the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government would continue to explore avenues to empower the people and provide job-creating avenues for its youth.
The MP noted that just as he sponsored the training of 91 persons to learn a form of trade, he was committed in continuing to provide such training for many others in the constituency until all have something to do with their talents.
“Just as I show interest in developing the human capital of my constituents, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was much more committed to exploring avenues to better the lives of the Ghanaian people and for me I would tell you to choose the NPP in every election year because we have your best interests at heart”, Dr Napo stressed.
