During cabinet meetings, lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua says most of his submissions were met with frowning of faces.
“At cabinet meetings, I spoke like a leader and some people frowned”, the General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) shared about his experience.
Despite the frowns that met his opinions, the NPP chief scribe noted that he stood his grounds and got the support of most Members of Parliament in his party.
“The MPs came to tell me to speak for them because they said if they speak they could be sacked. I doff my heart to Ashanti MPs who were with me during cabinet meetings”, he said on the Wontumi Morning Show.
The NPP in his view hasn’t had a General Secretary with balls to call his own government out when things were going wrong.
“From 1992, have we haven’t had a General Secreatry who has been able to tell government to reshuffle it ministers. I was on TV telling the government to do that”, he said.
