The Deputy Minister for Education in charge of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), Hon Gifty Twum Ampofo says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has set the required foundation for Ghana to move forward.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning Political Show, she indicated that the Nana led government has laid very efficient measures which is serving as a catalyst for development.
‘’Digitization has become a hallmark in the history of Ghana under the NPP government. Today with just a press of a button one can access very significant information through their mobile phones -rural telephony has increased in most deprived communities plus other initiatives that has been introduced by the government’’, she said.
According to Hon. Twum Ampofo, all the projects government has initiated are tangible and they are contributing massively in the socio-economic growth of citizens. She applauded government for the free SHS and free TVET policy.
“Government has introduced modern equipment to boost TVET education and to aid in effective teaching and learning, and has built industries through the 1 district 1 factory policy. Let’s not forget the National Identification Card and the no-guarantor for loan application. All these shows clearly that the NPP government has set the right grounds to move the country forward as other countries have done’’, she added.
She concluded that no government has been able to do what President Akufo- Addo has done for Ghana.
