NPP Founding Fathers Commend Akufo-Addo For Retaining Ashanti Regional Minister
Founding fathers for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) have lavished praises on President Akufo-Addo for re- appointing Hon. Simon Osei Mensah as the Ashanti Regional Minister.
According to them, the Regional Minister did a yeoman’s job and that there was the need for him to be retained.
Speaking on Wontumi Radio/TV, the Vice Chairman for the founding fathers, Nana Fosu Adu- Gyamfi indicated that, “We are pleased with the retainment. President Akufo-Addo has given us our heart desire.”
He hinted that, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah has never turned his back to anybody who gets an encounter with him.
“The Ashanti Regional Minister treats everybody equally.” He added
Nana Adu-Gyamfi noted that, though Hon. Simon Osei Mensah would be vetted before being approved as the Regional Minister, ‘it’s our fervent prayer that he would be approved to continue the good works for Asanteman.
The Founding Fathers of the NPP thanked the leaders of the party for ochestrating the hard fought victory in the 2020 election.
They urged the party members to be united and rally behind President Akufo-Addo to rule the country.
