A lecturer at the Department of Political Science Education at the University of Education Winneba, Dr. Ebenezer Teye Amanor-Larty, says Justin Frimpong Koduah (JFK) leading the party to break the eight will be much easier if government is able to re-strategize its management policies.
He made this statement on Movement In The Morning Show with Kwaku Dawuro on Monday, 18th July, 2022.
He said, “the General Secretary position is the engine of the National Executive body. I didn’t see John Boadu’s defeat coming. From the interviews I listened to in the news, the delegates stated he does not pay attention to grass root members, the reason they voted against him. I know Koduah can do the work, however, government has a major role to play in making JFK’s task achievable’’.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) elected new executives at the 2022 National Annual Delegates Conference. John Boadu the former General Secretary who assumed seat from 2015 to 2022 was unseated by Justin Frimpong Koduah the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) with 2837 votes against John Boadu’s 2524 votes.
He added that changes in government will make breaking the 8 realistic.
