Nobody Has Intimidated Ministers Following Alan Kyeremanten- Fati Abubakar

Alan Kyeremanten Withdraws From Presidential Primaries…Claims Special Delegates Conference Was Strategically And Tactically Skewed

No minister of state or Member of Parliament has been intimidated for choosing to follow other candidates either than vice President Bawumia, the deputy minister of Information, Hon. Fatimatu Abubakar has said.

“I am an appointee of this government and as deputy minister nobody has ever called me that due to my appointment I should go and campaign for candidate A or B else you would be sacked. Hon. Alan Kyeremanten had a walk and we saw Hon Abena Osei-Asare, some MPs and ministers, who has sacked them from post? In some of the constituencies, DCEs are mobilizing for some candidates”, she said.

The deputy minister stated on Movement TV that she is part of those who deploy communicators to media houses and never have they intimidated communicators who only use the opportunity to sell their respective candidates rather than talk about the achievements of government.

“This is an internal election and everybody knows what is going on; you won’t get a single person who would say because I support this candidate, the system has sacked me. So on what basis are they claiming that they are being intimidated?

We are in charge of deployment for the communicators, and all those making that allegation get the chance to speak because we permit them to speak on radio and when they go they get the opportunity to sell their candidate and even forget to speak for the government”, she said.
