No Wonder They Can’t Explain; It’s Vague And Lacks Substance- Eugene Brempong On NDC’s 24- Hour Economy

The Communications Director for the New Juaben South constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Eugene Nana Yaw Brempong, has lambasted the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their inability to effectively communicate their policies to the Ghanaian people.

Specifically, Brempong singled out the NDC’s proposed 24-hour economy policy, which he believes is vague and lacks substance.

He noted that despite not being forced to do so, the NDC has failed to provide a clear explanation of this policy, from their flagbearer to their polling station executives.

“This lack of clarity and coherence in their policies is a clear indication of the NDC’s lack of vision and leadership,” Brempong stated.

“How can they claim to be ready to govern this country when they cannot even articulate their own policies?” he asked.

Brempong also ridiculed the NDC’s proposal to provide hen coops as a means of employment, calling it “trivial” and “archaic.” He questioned how rearing lions could be considered a job offer and emphasized that the NPP is far ahead in terms of ideas and governance.

“The NPP has a proven track record of implementing policies that have transformed the lives of Ghanaians,” Brempong said. From the Free SHS program to the numerous infrastructure projects, we have shown that we are a party of vision and action”, he said.

He challenged the NDC to engage in a debate on ideas if they are truly committed to changing the socio-economic landscape of Ghana. Brempong believes that the more Ghanaians become educated through programs like Free SHS, the more the NDC’s shortcomings are exposed, leading to their collapse.

“The NDC’s collapse is inevitable. Their lack of ideas, their inability to communicate their policies, and their archaic thinking are all indicative of a party that is out of touch with the Ghanaian people”, he added.
