‘No Support from My Countrymen’ – ‘Ameno’ Hitmaker Nektunez Supports Wale as he Blasts Ghanaians

Ghanaian musician and producer Nektunez, the brain behind the trending ‘Ameno’ song, has taken shots at Ghanaians for not supporting our acts.

Nektunez has shared opinions that suspiciously mirror what Shatta Wale has been saying for years.

Nektunez has become a household name recently due to the mega-success of his ‘Ameno Ampiano’ remix.

The song contains the infamous ‘you want to bamba, you want to chill with the big boys’ line which made it a household name.

The entire Christmas was spent with this song.

It has also become a worldwide hit, topping Apple and Spotify charts worldwide due to its popularity on Tiktok.

However, it’s having some copyright issues.

Back to Nektunez, he took shots at Ghanaians after the song became a bigger hit in Nigeria before coming to Ghana.

Taking to social media, he decried a lack of support from his own countrymen.

Nektunez wrote: “I keep asking myself why e be Naija my song go dew blow for first smh…”

In another post, he once again bemoaned lack of support from Ghanaians.

“Support/no support from my countrymen. Man’s still gonna go hard & #amenoampiano,” he said.

His comments kind of mirror Shatta Wale’s old rants against Ghanaians for not supporting him.

Funnily enough, Nektunez song, which is a collaboration with Nigerian Goya Menor, shows that we need Nigerians rather than to be insulting them as Shatta Wale is hell-bent on doing!
