New VGMA hip-hop song of the year winner Yaw Tog has been bragging lately after winning his first-ever award.
In a recent interview, Yaw Tog, the new sensation in Ghana, has claimed he made Grammy Award winning UK rapper Stormzy popular in Ghana.
Yaw Tog told MzGee on national TV that no one knew the UK rapper Stormzy until he put him on his ‘Sore’ remix.
According to Yaw Tog, a lot of Ghanaians knew Stormzy after he appeared on his ‘Sore’ remix song which bagged over 1 million views on YouTube in 24 hours.
MzGee quizzed Yaw Tog on the show if he gained international and local recognition after Stormzy hopped on his song.
This kid in a quick response debunked the statements and stated categoricallythat he also made Stormzy popular in Ghana.
This will be about the 10th time Ghanaians have called the young musician arrogant.
Yaw Tog, according to many critics, does not know how to talk on interviews and got himself in trouble with his words.
Management of the young bull need to coach the boy on how to express himself during interviews least he will lose collaborations and connections if he continues with this childish behaviour.

@CedisonB: “Charley boys get small hit then them grow wings !! Stormy is world wide and you talking like this ?”
@K_P_Serlom: “Relax la he has a point?
He’s trying to say people got to know Stormzy here in Ghana after the remix and it’s a fact. Not that some of us didn’t know him but a lot more people got to know him here after the track?”
