The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has taken a swipe at Onsy Kwame Nkrumah describing him as a man with “little facts”.
Mr. Antwi-Boasiako popularly referred to as Chairman Wontumi, dismissed claims by the son of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah that the NPP had infiltrated the camp of the Convention People’s Party and was using Nana Akosua Frimpomaa to do their bidding.
In an interview with Wontumionline.com, Chairman Wontumi explained that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) that has hijacked the CPP and hasn’t shied away from talking about stealing their ideologies.
Onsy Nkrumah claimed on Onua FM that Nana Frimpomaa was sneaked into the CPP by the NPP.
Mr. Nkrumah said he was close to Nana Frimpomaa when he didn’t know she was a stoop of the NPP until he became aware of it.
But Chairman Wontumi rebutted that “the CPP has rather allowed the NDC to infiltrate their camp and steal their ideas. Take a look at the color of their flag, the NDC is using similar colors. The tradition of the NPP is different from that of the CPP but the NDC shames the same tradition as the CPP because they have stolen their ideas”.
He therefore advised that if the CPP is looking forward to be vibrant political party, they should first tell the NDC to move away from them and stop copying their ways.
