Nigerian Bodybuilder Andrew Jacked Wins $750,000 In 2026 Arnold Classic

Nigerian bodybuilding star, Chinedu Andrew Obiekea, popularly known in fitness circles as Andrew Jacked, has etched his name into bodybuilding history after winning the Men’s Open title at the prestigious Arnold Classic.

The victory came during the 38th edition of the iconic competition, held in Columbus, Ohio, where the Nigerian dominated a stacked lineup to secure the biggest prize money ever awarded in the event’s history, a staggering $750,000.

Andrew Jacked entered the contest as one of the favourites following his impressive third-place finish at the 2025 Mr Olympia.

With top contenders such as Derek Lunsford and Samson Dauda absent from the lineup, the stage appeared perfectly set for the Nigerian star to seize the moment.

Delivering a commanding posing routine, Jacked impressed judges with his remarkable muscle fullness, symmetry, and conditioning.

His performance ultimately placed him ahead of a competitive field led by Nick Walker, who finished second and earned $250,000, while former champion Hadi Choopan secured third place and $150,000.

Other competitors rounding out the top six included Martin Fitzwater in fourth, Brandon Curry in fifth, and Rafael Brandao in sixth.

The Arnold Classic, founded by bodybuilding legend Arnold Schwarzenegger, remains one of the most prestigious competitions in the sport, second only to the Olympia.

Following his historic triumph, Andrew Jacked reflected on the achievement during a post-win interview, acknowledging the significance of the moment while expressing gratitude for the journey that brought him to the top of the bodybuilding world.
