New KMA Mayor Must Have Good Financial Background- Nana Yaw Wiredu
The Assembly Member for Ahinsan Estate Electoral area, Hon. Nana Yaw Wiredu, has affirmed that, the new Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Mayor must be someone who has good financial background.
According to him, the KMA is about property rate and taxes.
Contributing to panel discussion on Wontumi Radio/TV Hon. Yaw Wiredu added that, “the new KMA Mayor must also be someone who has good human relations.”
“The new boss should be someone who is business oriented and straight forward,” the Ahinsan Estate Electoral area Assembly Member further added.
He appealed to the Vetting Committee to also consider the age wise when making the appointment.
“The youth should be given the opportunity to be MMDCEs. If only they will use the structures to work, they will be successful,” he said.
Hon. Yaw Wiredu told Oheneba Nana Asiedu that, he won’t be surprised if any of the underlisted persons is appointed to handle the KMA thus Hon. Osei Assibey Antwi, Mr. Atta Opoku, Mr. Samuel Pyne and Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo
