New Juaben North To Vote For Future Generation On December 7- MCE
Municipal Chief Executive of New Juaben North, Hon. Comfort Asante says victory in this years elections will be for the benefit of future generations.
Showcasing her achievements on Wontumi Radio/TV‘s Election 2020 political programme hosted by Oheneba Nana Asiedu, she said that, 43,000 eligible voters in the Municipality have been registered to vote in the elections.
“I except the electorate to vote massively for Nana Akufo-Addo and the Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Kwasi Adjei Boateng to continue their good works.”
Madam Comfort was happy that she is getting support from the traditional leaders in the Juaben area including the Juabenhene, Daasebre Oti Boateng which is making her work less difficult.
As a teacher, the MCE is passionate when the issue affecting children are raised and called on stakeholders in child rights issues to adopt measures that will first and most deter male partners who impregnate teenagers.
My plea is that the tackling the problem of teenage pregnancies should rather focus on how to keep at bay the male partners of our young girls because they are the cause of the problem. It is regrettable that the problem is look at from the perspectives of young girls instead of the male counterparts.
