Rounding up to elections on 7th,December, 2020. A plot to assassinate her was unraveled by the police in Agona West constituency.

The suspects were traced to the NDC opponent who knew he didnt have a chance to win against the incumbent, Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morrison.

The Member of Parliament for the Agona West Constituency, who doubles as the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon Cynthia Mamle Morrison, has floored her opponent for the second time to win the Parliamentary seat of Agona West Constituency in the Central Region Of Ghana.
Mrs. Cynthia Morrison born on 17 January 1964 in Elimina in the Central Region of Ghana. Her love for the catering industry grew at a tender age as she assisted her mum to bake bread and prepare other delicacies for domestic and commercial purposes. .
Thus she pursued that passion to acquire professional training in her area of interest, She obtained certificates in catering from Flair Catering and secured host of other certifications just to mention a few.

Hon Cynthia Morrison has, over the years, established herself as the biggest threat to the NDC’s electoral fortunes in Agona West Constituency.
She has beaten them in all the parliamentary elections. Shhe contested in the 2016 elections, where she beat her NDC opponent by a difference of more than 11,000 votes, which is the biggest humiliating defeat suffered by the party in the constituency.

Hon Cynthia Morrison’s tenure as the Member for Parliament for Agona West and Minister of State has witnessed many developmental projects in all facets including education, roads, security, social support health, infrastructure amongs others in the constituency.

It is thus not surprising that she is loved by her people and nobody can take that away from her.
Mrs. Morrison is representing her people again in the 8th Parliament of Ghana.
