The leadership of the National Democratic Congress is plotting to make Ghana an unattractive destination for foreign investors, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Great Consolidated Popular Party, Chairman Kofi Owusu Omar, has uncovered.

Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, the GCPP Chairman explained that it is for this reason that the leaders of the NDC have advised their supporters to heighten the tension in the country after the Electoral Commission didn’t declare the elections in their favor.

NDC wants to make Ghana unattractive to foreign investors. They did the same thing before the registration exercise but it all came to an end”, Chairman Kofi Owusu Omar disclosed.

He blamed former President John Mahama for using the unrest to champion his bid to return as flagbearer for the NDC in 2024.

Chairman Omar also described the NDC demonstrators as people who don’t have any meaningful work to do and for that reason, have taken to the streets. “If they had something better to do, they won’t be on the street”, he said.
