The former Deputy Director for external affairs for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Asafo Adjei, says the National Democratic Congress only remember Ghanaians during election time.
He told Oheneba on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, that NDC are insensitive and pretend to have the interest of the people at heart, due to their selfish gains such as massive garnering of votes during election period.
According to Asafo Adjei ”I went to zambori which is predominantly NDC members, and what they are saying is that they know no positive result will yield from the by-election because the man will come and do nothing and we can’t also vote for NPP, so in that case they will not go and vote at all. So i’m telling the people of Assin that they have been presented with a golden opportunity, a developmental election is what we are going to have, election that will yield positivity.
Today the NDC is desperate, looking at the things they are distributing and agenda they are pushing, it is disgusting. The money Andrew Solomon gave has been used to buy wallentin boots to be shared for their members in Berekum, and funny enough it it just their strong holds they are doing that in.”
He further made an assertion that ”Because they have realised it’s time for by-election, they are now going round to share wallentin boots, NDC only cares for people when it’s election time.”
