The Chief Executive Officer of Public Sector Reforms, Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo, has taken a direct swipe at Members of Parliament on the side of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), describing them as legislators who behave as kids when it comes to discharging their duties.
His comments were in relations to how NDC MPs on the vetting committee are performing with the national assignment they have been given.
Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo, an economist by profession stated that questions such as “what is fish farming?” and others from NDC MPs to minister designates shows clearly that they are “still kidding even in Parliament”.
In his view, the pattern taken by the NDC MPs when it comes to asking questions, shows that they are not interested in asking policy related questions.
“Their line of questioning in Parliament shows that they don’t ask policy related questions”, he said.
He added that questions asked during vetting should be measured noting that there are questions meant for technical people and not politicians.
