Debate over E-levy has proven that majority of NDC MPs can’t engage in exchange of ideas but are rather good at boxing and cutting others with sharp objects like razors, the MP for Nhyiaeso Constituency has said.
Hon. Stephen Amoah revealed that Parliament has now become like a warfront due to the issue of E-Levy but maintained that the majority in the house would remain firm and resolute to pass the bill.
He called out the minority Chief Whip, Muntaka Mubarak on Wontumi TV for leading the NDC group in parliament to start a fight anytime there was a debate on the levy.
“The NDC doesn’t love Ghana. If they say passing the bill would make Ghanaians vote against NPP, then they should do that. Parliament isn’t about boxing, if they want to kill us they should go ahead and do it. If they kill us because of Ghanaians, it is good. We would be firm, resolute and pass the bill. They make Parliament look like warfront. Exchange of ideas isn’t boxing, what do you gain from beating your colleagues and using blade to cut them?”
