Conduct of some members of the minority on the vetting committee points to the fact that they are suffering from ‘kpokpogbligbli’, Nana Oteatuoso Kokobeng II, a political analyst has said.
The vociferous analyst with strong leanings towards the New Patriotic Party in an interview on Wontumi TV explained that the decision by some National Democratic Congress MPs to deliberately grill minister-designates was getting out of hand and had to stop.
According to him if the Supreme Court of Ghana would even allow for a witness in the ongoing election petition to be interviewed via zoom, then he sees no reason, Parliament can’t do same when the nation was still battling the spread of COVID-19.
He called on the NDC MPs on the committee to ask relevant questions. He singled out the MP for Boadi, Sampson Ahi and bashed him for reducing the vetting process to joke.
