NDC Managing Resources Bequeathed by Nana Addo’s Administration- Agyemang

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications team, Agyemang, has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of merely managing resources made available by the previous Nana Addo-led NPP administration.

He emphasized that the current government’s successes are a direct result of the good measures put in place by the NPP during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Agyemang drew a distinction between leadership and management, suggesting that while the NDC may be able to manage existing resources, they lack the leadership skills to create new ones. He predicted that within two years, the NDC’s inability to sustain the economy would become apparent, as the resources bequeathed by the NPP would be depleted.

In a veiled critique, Agyemang challenged the NDC to demonstrate their ability to solve pressing issues, such as the recent energy crisis, “dumsor.” He referenced a claim made by John Jinapor that former President Mahama had solved “dumsor” before leaving office in 2017 and suggested that if this were true, the current administration should be able to replicate the same solutions.
