NDC Incapable of Managing Energy Sector – Razak Abubakar
Constituency Youth Organizer of Subin Constituency, Razak Abubakar, has expressed his conviction that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is incapable of effectively managing the energy sector.
Speaking on Wontumi TV, Abubakar emphasized that Ghanaians have endured enough theories and explanations regarding the energy crisis; what they need now is a reliable power supply.
Abubakar pointed out that when Nana Addo was leaving office, there were no significant power outage challenges, implying that the current administration has failed to maintain the stability achieved by the previous government. He criticized the NDC for attributing the power outages to saboteurs, specifically highlighting the claim that saboteurs were responsible for the dumsor (power outages) in Kumasi.
According to him, the NDC’s inability to manage the energy sector is evident, and they should acknowledge their limitations rather than shifting blame. He suggested that the NDC lacks the knowledge and expertise to run the energy sector effectively and should seek help.
Abubakar also accused the NDC of planning to sell the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) while in power.
