NDC Has Delayed So Much With Manifesto – Kusi Boafo
The CEO of Public Sector Reforms, Thomas Kusi Boafo has stated that the over delay of the opposition NDC’s manifesto is a serious threat to the party.
He explained that this will puncture the NDC’s chance of giving the NPP a hectic competition as expected of it.
Speaking on State Of Ghana Saturday morning on Wontumi Tv, Mr Boafo reiterated that as a largest opposition party, it bestows on them to have launched its manifesto for a stiffer competition.
He noted that the over delay of its manifesto and a consequence postponement has showed that the NDC is not ready for power.
“As an opposition, much is expected of you to tackle the ruling party sector by sector with shadow persons,” he told host, Oheneba Nana Asiedu.
The Public Sector Reforms CEO said that although former President Mahama must be congratulated for his boldness to lead the NDC, he emphasized that Mr Mahama is not ready for power.
According to him, Mr Mahama wasted his chance when he had the opportunity to transform the economy, saying he was so much self-centered and surrounded by people who could not correct him.
Mr Boafo stressed that Mr Mahama apart from destroying the economy with ‘dumsor’, continued with the heartbreaking destruction of the banking sector.
“Now what do we see, the prudent measures by Nana Addo has transformed the economy from tatters,”he added.
Mr Boafo fumed that under Mahama’s government, people became criminally greedy and no one could speak to it.
“President Akufo-Addo’s economy transformation is a 20 year long term project which has a permanent legacy.” He said
The Public Sector Reforms CEO defended why Nana Addo deserves 4 more years to do more saying that Mr Mahama and his NDC will destroy Nana Addo’s economic and social interventions should he be brought back.
