The Director of communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Richard Ahiagbah, has indicated that the NDC government is adopting media trial as part of its grand agenda to defame the NPP.
According to him, the Attorney-General, Dr. Dominic Ayine lacks confidence in the supposed evidence he has to withstand the rigor of trial in the courtroom.
Speaking with Oheneba Nana Asiedu on Wontumi morning show on Wontumi TV, he noted that the NDC is using all means necessary to harass and humiliate Ghanaians with impunity.
Ahiagbah insisted that Ghanaians would judge the government not by its media narratives but by its actual performance, particularly in the areas of governance and economic management. He warned that any attempt to use legal and security institutions as tools for political persecution would ultimately fail.
“The government has strategically placed individuals in security agencies to intimidate NPP members and create public disaffection towards the party”, he noted.
