The District Chief Executive for Upper Denkyira West, Hon. Agyemang Asiedu, has lashed out at executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and blamed them for handling the development at Ejura as if their party headquarters has collapsed.
In taking a direct swipe at them, he stated on Wontumi TV that when the issue broke, NDC executives have sat in Accra and organised series of press conferences just to give false hope to the youth of Ejura.
He blamed them for distorting the facts of the matter with the series of lies they have churned out about the incident which has claimed 3 lives.
The killing of Macho Kaaka and subsequently two other people at Ejura, has generated national attention.
The Vice President together with the National Chief Imam visited the area on Friday, July 2, 2021 to commiserate with the families.
President Nana Akufo-Addo has also tasked the Interior Minister, Mr. Ambrose Dery to investigate the issue.
