Henry Nana Boakye has itemized some key features which run through the “most useless” demonstration to be staged by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) against the Electoral Commission of Ghana.
The National Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) popularly known as Nana B says Ghanaians should expect the NDC demonstrators to “make noise for three (3) hours, get hungry, drink water and go home”.
Speaking to Kofi Asare on the Wontumi Morning Show which was monitored by Wontumionline.com, Nana B stated that he sees “no sense” in the planned demonstration by the NDC.
“The EC is calling for their (NDC) evidence if there is any anomaly in the register, but the NDC says they won’t give them the evidence”, he said.
Based on the stance of the NDC, he described their demonstration as “the most useless venture I have ever seen”.
He revealed that he would have supported the NDC plan for a demonstration if it was rather the EC that was avoiding collaboration with them.
“If you are speaking to the EC and they don’t collaborate, that is when you can demonstrate”, he said.
He was optimistic that despite the plan by the NDC to demonstrate, the NPP will win the impending 2024 general elections.
“These things would distract them and we will win the election”, he said.
