The infamous National Democratic Congres (NDC) Green Book, contained several errors and lies. The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has pointed out that his private estate houses numbering about 30, were captured in the NDC’s Green Book without his approval.

In an interview on the Wontumi Morning Show, the NPP Chairman revealed that “my private estate houses that I have built in my hometown, the NDC captured it in their Green Book as their achievement.”

Pressed by the host of the show to take the NDC on, the NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi stated that “I don’t want to waste my time on them”.

He explained that the leader and flagbearer of the NDC, Mr. John Dramani Mahama, has no shame and it would have been a total waste of time if he had challenged the NDC when they first published the Green Book in 2016.

The estate is mine and I was surprised to see it captured in their book. They termed it as an NDC project. The houses are about 30 in number”, Chairman Wontumi said.

The foreword of the NDC’s Green Book which took them to opposition in 2016 reads:

President John Dramani Mahama made a pact with the sovereign people of Ghana in 2012 to deliver on their mandate in a manner that will change lives and transform our dear nation, Ghana.

He has been delivering on this sacred mandate with a sense of urgency. Many Ghanaians agree that sterling results have been achieved in his first term in office while strenuous efforts are being made to resolve long-standing national challenges.

This book, Accounting to the People, is a compilation of the numerous significant strides made in various sectors of our national life. Adopting a combination of pictures with crisp and incisive text, the book is a testimony of President Mahama’s vision to change lives and transform Ghana.

The book is presented in two parts. The first part gives a broad overview of this Government’s performance in various sectors based on the four thematic areas of the 2012 NDC manifesto. The second part provides pictorial proof of work done at the district level.
