NCA Wins Big In Kenya; Bags Two Prestigious Awards At The 8th Africa Digital Economy Awards

NCA Issues Update 4 On Undersea Cable Disruptions Affecting Data Services

The National Communication Authority (NCA) has clinched two prestigious awards at the 8th Africa Digital Economy Awards (ADEA) in Kenya, held on Nov 10th.

Recognized as the “Africa Communications Regulator of the Year,” the NCA, led by its Director General, Mr. Joe Anokye, stood out for its outstanding performance in overseeing the Ghanaian communications sector.

In addition to this accolade, Mr. Anokye secured a spot among Africa’s Top 50 Digital Economy Leaders.

Mr. Anokye is a Geodetic Engineer and Technology Manager, A Former Service Manager for Mission Routed Data at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)USA, and the current Director-General of the National Communications Authority (NCA).

As a talented and accomplished Technology Executive, Mr. Anokye has a proven ability to successfully direct and manage major and key information technology, telecommunications, and technology support services operations from inception to completion.

In August 2019, he was awarded a Certificate of Senior Executives in National and International Security Programmes from the prestigious John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University Executive Education, USA.
