Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has described it as failure on the part of the National Security to gather enough intelligence to know some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) were going to boo at President Akufo-Addo at an event.
The seasoned lawyer stated that if such intelligence cannot be gathered before the president attends an event; it means he is not well protected by the security agencies.
He directly accused the NDC of planting their members at the Global Citizen festival to hoot at President Akufo-Addo during his speech.

Speaking on Wontumi TV, lawyer Ampaw stated that the act was “premeditated” after a careful look at the video that is circulating on social media.
President Akufo-Addo was booed by a section of the crowd that attended a global entertainment event held at the Black Star Square in Accra on Saturday, September 24, 2022.
