Napoli manager, Rudi Garcia reserved huge praise for Victor Osimhen for his magnanimity during the club’s Serie A clash against Sassuolo at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Saturday.
The Serie A champions won the encounter 2-0 to maintain their perfect start to the season.
Osimhen opened the scoring for the Partenopei from the spot in the first half.
It was the Nigeria international’s 100th club goal.
Napoli won another penalty after the break and Osimhen handed the ball to his teammate, Giacomo Raspadori.
Raspadori however missed the spot kick, but captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo scored a few minutes later to make the points safe for the visitors.
Garcia was impressed with Osimhen’s gesture to his teammate.
“That is a great sign, because it means he is thinking about the team and not just about himself. I loved that.
“Raspadori is an attacking player who can feature in any of the forward roles, he will score goals and get assists,” Garcia was quoted by DAZN.
Osimhen has scored three goals in two appearances for Napoli this season.
